Bolton Abbey Station Bolton Abbey station shop specialises in oil lamps and spares and normally has in stock over 20 different types of chimneys and a wide assortment of pressure lamp spares for both Tilley and Vapourlux / BiAladdin lamps. Also stocked is a large range of live steam engines by Willesco, and the MSS live steam railway. Normally open at weekends - can be opened at any time by appointment. The photograph to the right shows the display of oil lamps for sale - more parts are kept in stock, and even more can be ordered. The other photograph (left) shows the display of Willesco live steam engines and their associated accessories. Along with these items is an explanation of how the engines work. Also of interest at Bolton Abbey station is the Lamp Collection - thought to be the largest collection of pressure lamps on public display in the country. Please note, we do NOT sell second hand lamps, and the collection is NOT for sale. Embsay Station Embsay station shop specialises in books, housing the world famous Embsay Station Book Shop and diecast models, as well as other products. The photos left and right show the bookshop following its refurbishment which has improved the ability to display some of the range!
