The Mk. I's on the railway have been repainted into the BR maroon, complete with the yellow and black lining, and are progressively featuring BR roundels. They also carry YDR fleet numbers alongside the former BR running numbers.

DMU support coach BSK 35131 1957 DMU support coach - painted in the green livery of the DMU and based at Bolton Abbey station with the DMU.

LNER Restaurant Car 43654 1935 BR number 321002 - from departmental service - converted from Third Open at Embsay. Operating in teak livery for Cream Teas.
Now on NYMR - about to enter traffic.
MR Corridor 3rd 238 1922 Built by the Midland Railway, inherited by the LMS. Shipped to Ireland in 1941 following the destruction of coaching stock during the war. 5'3" bogies were fitted, headstocks were altered. Remained in service Ireland until 2003. Shipped back to England 2004 and work on swapping the bogies began. Will be restored to LMS condition eventually, but will be made serviceable asap. Being repainted into LMS NCC livery.Bogies arrived - awaiting fitting..

ECJS Dining Car 189 1894 Oldest Dining Car in existence - rescued from use as a pig shed - being restored to teak finish for use on the railway. Away at Doncaster for ride height to be corrected - due back shortly.

GER Family Saloon 8 1877 Body and underframe only at present. Converted in 1881 as the Prince of Wales' (future King Edward VII) saloon. Returned to normal passenger use in 1897, retaining the modifications until withdrawn and sold in 1921. Very good condition, but to be restored to Royal condition in GER teak livery. Will initially be used as a shop whilst components for the chassis are sourced. Photo 1 Photo 2

GNoSR Saloon 34 1896 Arrived 2001 and has entered traffic following a thorough overhaul. Operating on the stately trains services this year. Repainted 2005 prior to visiting NYMR.

LYR Directors' Saloon 1 1906 Fully restored at Embsay. Currently on display in the National Railway Museum where it will also be used on their demonstration line.

LNWR Directors' Saloon 5318 1913 12-wheeled Directors' Saloon. Arrived at Embsay requiring a full restoration which has now started with the replacement of the dry-rot affected areas of framing and new body panels.Glazing will take palce shortly

LSWR Queen Victoria's Saloon 18?? Body delivered to Bolton Abbey station, awaiting a chassis. To be restored once current projects are completed and will give the line its own Royal Train...

LNWR Horsebox 479 1874 Body only, arriving at Embsay Feb. 2006 from Daventry for restoration. Taken out of traffic and used during the construction of the railway into Daventry, later to store horses for an isolation hospital, latterly in a garden centre. Chassis being sourced.

Gunpowder Van GWR Iron Mink No. 105742. Fully restored and used in demonstration goods trains.

LMS 5-Plank ex-Preston Docks. Just been repainted into Private Owner red livery. In good working order, requiring lettering.
LMS 5-Plank ex-Preston Docks. Thought to have been L & Y, but unsure now. Requires complete rebuild (new solebars etc!). Currently with dumb buffers.
7-Plank ex NCB Wheldale. Of NE design - used to have hopper doors. Used at Wheldale colliery for loco coal. Requires a lot of attention - all metalwork suspect.
Grampus Repaint started - awaiting completion. In good working order.

Octel No. 47023. Built 1957 - Hurst, Nelson & Co. Overhauled / converted to provide fuelling point. Outshopped in Shell/BP livery and through-piped.

BP BR(M) No. 183089. Built 1950. Operational - requires attention to springs and a repaint.

- Brake Vans

Description Notes
SR Goods Brake No. 49007, built 1942. ex-army. Requires full replanking / repainting.
GW Goods Brake No. 68900, built 1933. Fully restored and operational.
LNER Goods Brake. ex-NCB Harton. Fitted with replacement springs to correct ride height / deadness of old springs. Bodywork underway 2006.
LMS Goods Brake No. 732141, built 1946. Requires replanking etc. - this will take place once L&Y boxvan is completed.

- Flats

Description Notes
BR Lowmac Flat. In use on P-Way trains.
GWR Lowmac Flat - No. 43267, built Swindon, 1943. In use on P-Way trains.
BR Lowmac Flat. Formerly modified and used to carry Class 66 bogies. Owned by the Marrows - operational, repainted in Bauxite livery.
BR Lowmac Flat. Still modified to carry Class 66 bogies. Owned by the Marrows - non-operational, requires parts making for the brake system.
L.T. London Transport Rail Carrier. In use on P-Way trains - 'cranes' for lifing rails on and off have been overhauled and had a design modification. Photo: (c) Jim Pike.
- BEANO Flat from Kirkstall Power Station - design does not include springs - little used as a result!
BR LOWFIT - operational but currently unbraked. Acted as a conversion unit between air and vacuum brakes at Swinden ? Could be re-fitted very quickly.
